Easy Oven-Cooked Pork Ribs

Yes, you can make indoor ribs (year-round!) that are moist and fall-off-the-bone-tender. Enjoy a flavor that balances sweetness with the bright tang of vinegar, heat, and a hint of smoke. It’s so easy, just pour on the sauce and serve!

YIELD: 4 servings

ACTIVE TIME: 15 mins.

TOTAL TIME: About 2 hours

What You’ll Need:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

  2. Place both racks of ribs in a glass baking dish. Pour 1/2 cup Back for More BBQ sauce over the ribs, making sure to coat both sides.

  3. Cover the the baking dish with foil and seal the edges. Place the baking dish in the oven on the middle rack.

  4. Cook for about 2 hours until meat is very tender and separates easily from the bone. Let the ribs rest in the baking dish while you warm the sauce and set the table. Slice the ribs between the bones using a serrated or very sharp carving knife. Place ribs on a plate and pour on the warm sauce, or place the cut ribs into a bowl and toss with warm sauce and then plate them. Be sure to have extra sauce on the table for pouring or ladling.

Do Ahead:

Cook the ribs as directed above. Remove the ribs from the baking dish and wrap tightly and refrigerate until needed. Simply preheat the oven and place the rack back into a clean baking dish with some sauce poured over them, cover with foil and reheat.

Internal Temperature Note: According to USDA, the safe internal temperature for pork is 145°F. At this tempertaure the ribs may still be tough. If you take them up to 190 to 203°F, the collagens and fats will melt and make the meat more tender and juicy.
